Michelle Obama headed west yesterday to launch the Obama administration's
United We Serve initiative. She joined California First Lady Maria Shriver in building a playground at Bret Harte Elementary School in San Francisco. Lady O was practical and pretty in a black cardigan with cropped pants, a printed blouse and
Puma sneakers.
Later, the First Lady delivered the keynote address at the National Conference on Volunteering and Service in a sheath dress with all the right details: abstract top, pleated banded waist, and fitted skirt.
